Privacy Policy
Last updated:
This site belongs to a freelance engineer, not a company. It has no contact form, no booking widget and no user accounts, so it collects very little personal data. This page explains what is processed, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to meet the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish data-protection law.
Who is responsible
David Gadyan, EXPERT-VETTED AI Engineer | Data Scientist | AI Agent | Generative AI | SaaS, Barcelona, Spain.
What data is processed, and why
Analytics
Only if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) records page views and clicks on links and downloads, together with technical data such as browser type, approximate location derived from your IP address (which Google does not store) and a random cookie id. I use the aggregated reports to see which pages are useful.
- Legal basis: your consent (art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time through Manage cookies in the footer.
- Retention: event data is kept by Google for 14 months, aggregated reports for longer.
Hosting
The site is static and hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc., USA). Like every web server, GitHub may log your IP address and the pages requested for security purposes. I have no access to individual logs.
Who receives data and where it goes
Data is shared only with the two service providers named above, each acting under its own privacy policy and a data-processing agreement. Google and GitHub are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. I never sell personal data and I do not use it for profiling or automated decisions.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can:
- ask what data is held about you (access),
- have inaccurate data corrected,
- have your data deleted ("right to be forgotten"),
- restrict or object to processing,
- receive your data in a portable format (portability),
- withdraw consent for analytics at any time without affecting earlier processing, through Manage cookies in the footer.
This site stores no personal data itself, so the analytics data held by Google is the only data these rights apply to, and withdrawing consent deletes the analytics cookies from your browser. If you believe your rights have been infringed, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Authority (AEPD) or the authority in your own EU country.
Children
This site is not aimed at children under 16 and I do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date above is updated and, where the change affects cookies, the consent banner is shown again.
